The Six Lab Rats IRC Network was founded in July 2008. It was originally created to host the members of a community called "TMOTI" (unfortunately its forums have now been closed), but later became home to other community channels such as PureZC, PALGN (Unofficial) and Friendcodes.

You can connect to SLR by configuring your IRC client to connect to:

    Server: sixlabrats.com
    Port: 6667

Alternatively you can connect to the mibbit link below, which will take you directly to the Lobby. Mibbit has enabled our network.

    http://mibbit.com/chat/#lobby@sixlabrats.com

Note: SSL is not currently supported. The above is subject to change once we redirect to a new server, which will be posted in the System Notices category - (2nd August, 2009)

Our network rules and contact information are as follows (this can be viewed on the server by typing /motd)

    +-+

All users are invited to use this network as long as they abide
    by the network rules.

    Our official channels are;

#Lobby - This is the main channel. Users must use appropriate and
civil behaviour in this channel. No swearing or vulgar
    language.

#Help - This channel is for network and IRC help. Here you can report
any issues with the server and/or its users to our network
staff, or you can request help with IRC/services commands.

Any other channels you find in /list will have their own rules and
expectations. Try to make yourself aware of these when you enter the
channel. Our network staff will not interfere with bans/modes set by
channel owners and their ops in unofficial channels; however if you
find any activities within channels which may be detrimental to the
network, please contact the network staff. See the NETWORK RULES for
    more information.

    +-+

Our network staff reserve the right to disconnect any user from the
network at any time if we deem it necessary. If you think you have
been banned from the network unfairly by our staff, feel free to
contact us via email, but there are no guarantees your ban will be
revoked. See NETWORK STAFF for details.

We also reserve the right to alter the following rules at
any time, so keep yourself up-to-date.

+ No flooding, and no spamming channels or users without permission.

+ No pornographic links or creating channels for cybersex.

+ No distribution of WAREZ in any form or illegal file sharing. No
advertising malicious software or websites. We take no responsibility
for virus infections received through file transfer, so use common sense
when accepting files from other users.

+ No hack threats or (D)DoS threats to our server or users. We also
disallow the use of the DCC exploit to disconnect users.

+ No harassing users via PMs, notices or memos. If you don't like another
user, use your IRC client's ignore function.

+ Bots are allowed for entertainment purposes (games, trivia, etc) but
if our network staff suspect harmful intent your bot/s may be disconnected
    or banned.

My timezone is: (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada). Except I'm awake at odd hours, I dunno how my timezone being up there is gonna actually help people catch me. But I guess memoserv doesn't hurt.
